WILD CHILD
PLAY FREE & BE WILD
Wild Child Woodland days for children aged 5-16 years
Project Rewild is committed to offering children opportunities to play outside in nature, have fun, make friends, learn new skills and be more wild.
We are reclaiming children’s Wild Nature! Read more about why here
Our goal is to inspire children to climb trees in the woods, run through wild meadows, explore rock pools by the shore, scramble over rocks, splash in muddy puddles, paddle in streams, forage for wild fruits, light campfires, and create bows and arrows. We want them to embrace the outdoors, get muddy, make friends, and fall in love with nature all over again!
We believe in the power of free play and wild exploration. To achieve this, we aim to eliminate the barriers that prevent children from playing outside. We want to empower parents, families, and communities to work together so that everyone can spend more time outdoors and gain the confidence to let children play freely. It’s time to rewild ourselves—for our well-being and for the sustainability of our planet.
