The Hastings Curse
A haunting tale of love, loss, ancient curses, and the restless spirits said to haunt the seas of Hastings.
Inspired by passages from One Man's Life, the memoir of Arthur Funnell, who grew up in Hastings Old Town over 100 years ago, this original oral tale begins with a group of local boys sharing old fishermen's stories around a campfire beneath the cliffs of Ecclesbourne Glen.
What follows is an unforgettable journey through centuries of Hastings' history and folklore, where love, loss, smugglers, ancient curses and restless spirits collide in one haunting local legend.
